Gehan co-founded GalGael back in 1997. As Programme Director Gehan has overall responsibility for all that GalGael does.

Neil's been with GalGael since May of 2012 and has been tasked with developing the social enterprise side of the organization.

Workshop Supervisor
Alasdair started with GalGael in March of 2013. As Workshop Supervisor he is responsible for all that happens in the GalGael workshops. Alasdair comes from a background in building and has spent many years working in Alaska.

Alan has been around GalGael from the very beginning. He works the shop floor, looking after the delivery of Journey On with particular responsibility for slab timber production.

Nori works on the shop floor and takes particular responsibility for our range of craft product and GalGael commissions.
Lead Boat Builder
As Lead Boat Builder Ben oversees all of GalGael's community boat building projects. Ben also heads up the Voyaging Society which makes sure that we get participants and volunteers out on the water both in Glasgow and beyond.

Mhairi is an independent consultant and business adviser. She spent 20 years working for Oxfam UK. For ten of those she was Director of Oxfam Scotland.

Alastair McIntosh is an Isle of Lewis-raised writer, broadcaster and campaigning academic best known for his work on land reform on Eigg.

Penny is our current Treasurer and chairs our Finance Sub-Group. She is the former Chief Executive of the Millennium Forest for Scotland and was awarded an OBE for her work on the development and delivery of this initiative.

Alan was born, educated and served a toolmaking apprenticeship in Dundee. In 2007, Alan retired from his role as Operations Manager for Jabil Circuit in Ayr including supporting the start-up of a new factory in Ukraine.

Wendy joined the Development Trusts Association Scotland, the support organisation for a fastest growing network of community enterprise practitioners, in 2004. She was a board member of Capital Credit Union for 9 years.

Deputy Head Master of St Aloysius' College until August 2008 and Convener of Education Committee of the Association for Scottish Literary Studies. Ronnie chairs our Barmaddy Steering Group.

Moyna is minister for Govan and Linthouse Parish Churches and is also an Honorary Lecturer for the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Glasgow.
