GalGael Timber
GalGael works in close partnership with agencies such as Historic Scotland and City Council parks departments to make sure that storm felled hardwoods are put to the very best of use.
We use our own Woodmizer portable sawmill to mill the timber, air dry and / or kiln dry it and then either use it in our workshops or sell it to the public. We usually hold stock which includes oak, ash, elm, cherry, holy and sycamore.
We also have a fully equipped machine shop so once you've selected a piece of timber we can machine to your exact requirements. And we've got our own kiln which is available for hire as well.
Our mobile sawmill (with operator) is available for hire on a daily or half daily basis. We can mill timber anywhere with reasonable vehicle access. If you've got trees coming down speak to us about getting all that beautiful timber milled up!
